This year the Society for Renaissance Studies Annual Lecture will be delivered by Professor Lyndal Roper (Oxford). Scheduled to coincide with the Society’s conference, this early evening lecture is a public event.

To attend, simply come along to St George’s Auditorium, Sheffield, at 5pm on Tuesday 3rd July. 

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Lyndal Roper is Regius Professor of History at the University of Oxford
and the author of The Holy Household. Women and Morals in Reformation Augsburg (Campus Verlag, Frankfurt 1995), Oedipus and the Devil (Routledge 1994), The Witch in the Western Imagination (University of Virginia Press 2012), and Martin Luther: Renegade and Prophet (Bodley Head, 2016; pictured).
